An alleged fake soldier, Warrant Officer Enoch Appiah who attempted selling weapons to undercover Police Officers has been arrested at Kasoa.

The Police are said to have been tipped-off that WO II Appiah wanted buyers for assault riffles which were in his possession.

Reports indicate, that the fake soldier was tracked down by Police officers at his hideout in an uncompleted building at Nurses Quarters, a community at Domeabra where he lived with his three wives.



The police officers, tactically positioning themselves apprehended the 'soldier'.

The officers discovered two Beretta and Taurus pistols and three rounds of AK-47 assault rifle ammunitions at his hideout.

A fake identify card bearing his name WO Enock Appiah and various military uniforms were also found.

Investigation is underway to ascertain how he got the uniforms and weapons.
