Black Sherif is among over 10 artistes nominated in the Best International Act category, with Ayra Starr representing Nigeria and Tyla representing South Africa.
Stonebwoy won in the same category three years later, crowning his debut Artiste of the Year win at the Ghana Music Awards in 2015. Kojo Antwi, D Black, Camidoh, MzVee are among a tall list who have been nominated at the BET Awards. Black Sherif's nomination this year sets Ghana on a new path since 2018, when the Best International Act category was rebranded.
