A 43-year-old woman identified as Cynthia Boahemaa has been found hanging in her room at Penkwase in the Sunyani Municipality.
The body of Cynthia, according to police was discovered hanging on a crossbar, tied with a cloth.
The deceased's co-tenants, Hayford Nkansah and Eunice Adobea who informed the police about the incident said they found her body with a cloth around the neck with blood oozing from her nostrils.
Police have begun investigations into the death.
