The Bono Regional Police Command has arrested a suspect in connection with the killing of two ADRAS Timber Concession guards and the burning of a vehicle at Mpamso Forest near Nsuhia in the Dormaa Central Municipality.
The incident occurred on October 26, 2025.
According to the police, the suspect, a 45-year-old motor mechanic, Bashiru Kinda was arrested during an intelligence-led operations.
A search at his residence uncovered an Automatic Bruni Model 96 9mm K pistol loaded with three rounds of 7.65mm ammunition, four mobile phones, machetes, talismans, and other amulets according to reports.
The Police added that efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend other individuals involved in the heinous crime to support investigations.
