Fellow patriots,
As we prepare for the upcoming polling station, electoral area, constituency, regional, and national elections, I want to humbly call on all of us in Tema East to ensure that this process is conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner. We all remember the challenges of the last polling station elections, where many felt the process was not credible. Those anomalies cost us dearly, and we cannot afford to repeat them.
It is important that every member who intends to contest for any position is given a fair opportunity to do so. This is the only way we can build a credible register that reflects the true will of our people. How we conduct these polling station elections will determine whether we are able to unite and position ourselves strongly to win the 2028 general elections.
I urge all of us to put the interest of the New Patriotic Party in Tema East above our personal ambitions. When we prioritize the party’s success, we strengthen our collective future. Let us remember that the credibility of our internal elections is the foundation upon which victory in national elections is built.
I am hopeful that the right thing will be done, not for any individual, but for the betterment of the party as a whole. I call on all NPP members in Tema East to guard this process, to be actively involved, and to ensure that sanity is brought into the register. Together, we can restore trust, unity, and strength in our constituency.
Let us rise above selfish interests and work for the greater good of the NPP. Our future depends on it.
