Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, was welcomed to Howard University in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, August 25, by the university’s President, Dr. Wayne A. I. Frederick; Provost, Dr. Anthony Wutoh, and Ghana’s Ambassador to the United States, Hon. Victor Smith, as part of activities marking Millennium Excellence Awards Week.
The King also held a private meeting with the university officials and the Ambassador ahead of his Royal Guest Lecture.
