The victim, identified as Mr. Carson Ladzekpo a retired seafarer was reported missing on May 22, 2025, after failing to return from his farm. His sudden disappearance raised alarm among residents.
Authorities later discovered his decomposing body secretly buried on his own farmland. This grim discovery prompted a manhunt that led to the arrest of a suspect a former herdsman employed at a nearby cattle farm who had gone into hiding.
According to reports, the murder followed a heated altercation between Mr. Ladzekpo and the suspect, which resulted in the herdsman’s dismissal from his job at the victim’s ranch.
