Tears flow as tragedy strikes a Senior High School after a female boarding student reportedly took her own life following the arrest of her boyfriend.
According to reports, the young girl had signed an exeat under the pretense of visiting home but instead went to spend time with her boyfriend. When her father later visited the school to check on her, the housemistress informed him that his daughter had gone home.
Suspicious and troubled, the father traced his daughter to the boyfriend’s residence, where the young man was subsequently arrested.
Unable to cope with her father’s actions, the distraught student allegedly ingested poison. She passed away shortly afterward.
School authorities and the local police have since been informed, and investigations are underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
