These two men are alleged to have killed Kofi Mensah, a 20-year-old man after robbing him of his motorbike at Twapease-Aboo.
Following an intelligence-led operation, Solomon Opoku and Collins Aboagye were traced and arrested at Obuasi when one of them attempted to sell the victim’s stolen Haojin motorbike.
According to the police, Opoku was arrested on October 10 at Council Quarters in Obuasi while trying to sell the stolen bike.
Further investigations led officers to Aboagye, who was later arrested at Kokotesua, also in the Obuasi area.
Both suspects have reportedly confessed to the crime, and the stolen motorbike has been recovered.
The two are currently in police custody and are expected to be arraigned on Monday, October 13, 2025.
What could be their motivation for killing him after getting what they wanted?
